ARTIST'S STATEMENT

Art is a creative expression that can transport you. It's my opportunity to depict many different aspects, approaches, and influences. Earlier work concentrates on color, line and shape much as abstracted forms of nature. 

 

Later series focus on my interpretation of objects, people, animals, and events.

 

Sculptural work relies on form, structure, and the maliability of clay. The work is a variety of highly textured, carefully manipulated pieces.

 

I take a painterly approach to representation through my imagination.
